Conor, Rocio, and their daughters Molly, 23, Lola, 13, and Ana, 10, moved to Norwich on a cold and misty day in 2009. It was the perfect place for the girls to grow up and a great location for their new business venture, Flint; a hair salon which was born nine months later in Bridewell Alley. Now at St Benedict's Street, Flint employs 16 staff, including a team of apprentices that are about to qualify, and a year-round programme of art exhibitions hosted within the salon. It's truly one of the most outstanding salons in Norwich.
The family love Norwich for its friendliness and the accessibility of culture and events. The Norwich Lanes community has provided Conor and Rocio with constant support and inspiration, and Molly has been able to pursue her dream career as the manager of the Clinique Beauty Counter in Boots Chapelfield.
Together, they spend time at Eaton Park (crazy golf and the bicycle shop cafe are highlights) and Whitlingham Outdoor Park. Their top recommendations? The Plough, ‘Fizz and Chips’ at Grosvenor Fish Bar and The Birdcage, Woolf and Social and the brilliant service and cocktails at Hawthorn!
