We at SHHHH are always on the lookout to work with projects that work towards, instigate and provoke positive change. It’s difficult to ignore the current state of our planet, and we think it’s more important than ever to band together and promote positive actions - with a view to protect and avoid further damage to our environment.
VEVOLUTION is one such project!
Vevolution is the leading UK plant-based festival, and it’s returning to London on November 10th, at London’s British Film Institute for its biggest and best line-up yet.
The Festival is a one-day extravaganza of inspiring talks, panels, workshops and delicious vegan food. Its ethos is to actively ‘inspire us all to go out and make a difference.’
Headline speakers for the festival, which focuses on sharing inspiring stories and ideas from leaders of the plant-powered movement, include Sunday Times best selling authors BOSH! And King CookDaily (pictured below, respectively) - both of whom have been pivotal in reshaping the UK’s perceptions of vegans.
This year the focus shifts from just food, to encompass fashion also! The backdrop of environmental, human and animal exploitation has led to to an emergence of a urgent new discourse around the true cost of fashion.
Low-impact fashion pioneers Venetia Falconer, Ella Grace Denton, emma Finch, Immy Lucas, Kirsten Leo, LA fashion designers Delikate Rayne & vegan leather watch brand Votch are just some of influencers and designers coming together to discuss what the future of fashion looks like in 2019.
Vevolution Festival 2018 will also have a strong focus on environmental issues and low-impact living, with environmental influencers Jack Harries, Claudia Ayuso and Kristen Leo, Immy lucas (Sustainably Vegan) and zero waste chef Max La Manna (Eating With Max) all appearing (pictured below).
In a new twist for 2018, - Eat Drink Vegan - America’s premier plant based food and drink festival will host the second stage at Vevolution, bringing with them one of LA’s leading chefs and restaurants to combine with the best of the UK vegan food scene.
Tickets are limited for this one-day festival bringing together ethical living pioneers for talks, panel debates and workshops on how we create a better plant-powered world.
