Alice Lee is an illustrator, part-time archivist at Cabinet art gallery in London, and veteran at Catfish/Dogfish/Sevenwolves in Norwich. She has lived in the city for over 10 years after moving here from Croydon to study at NUA.
Around work, Alice packs her time with creative projects which fall under the umbrella name of Parallel Point. For three years she curated regular exhibitions at The Birdcage; and more recently, she’s partnered up with local charity littlelifts, who provide support for women diagnosed with primary breast cancer, making pin badges and cards from her drawings of birds. Previously, Alice has been shortlisted for two Norfolk Arts Awards, including the EDP People’s Choice (Award).
Norwich has nurtured Alice’s creative career in a myriad of ways, which includes having an affordable studio via the folks at OUTPOST, and making it easy to feel part of an artistic community. Her top spots in the city are Strangers, the Market, and (of course) Catfish, Dogfish and Sevenwolves!
