If you haven’t got plans for the 10th-13th of August yet, you have now. As always your friends here at SHhhh collective have got you covered.
Fabric legend Craig Richards has teamed up with Gottwood Festival, and the results are inspiring. A 3 day event set in the grounds of Houghton Hall in Norfolk, featuring performances from the likes of Nicolas Jaar, Ricardo Villalobos, Floating Points, Seth Troxler, Nightmares On Wax and so many more, including Craig Richards himself. But thats not even the best part, DJ’s will be given extended set times, and spontaneous B2B’s are encouraged! Not only is the festival fiercely shaped around the best of electronic music, (we expect no less being in the wise hands of Richards), but the aim is to bring art and sculpture into the mix. With performances from James Turrell, Richard Long and more.
With an abandoned warehouse, a subterranean bowl and an art and sculpture park this festival will not only sound good, but you’re in for some visual treats. The grounds itself are dominated by woodlands and features a stunning lake. With so many promising features, we think Houghton Festival is essential this summer. First year running, don't miss out on saying you were there. For tickets, full line up, and more information visit https://www.houghtonfestival.co.uk/
